ET Seton Institute

This website is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Ernest Thompson Seton, author, artist, naturalist, conservationist, lecturer, youth group founder, and a truly outstanding character of the first half of the twentieth century.

It is our goal to be a source of information and contacts for people worldwide with an interest in Seton and the ideals of the Woodcraft Movement, which Seton launched in 1902.  Additionally, we are interested in connecting with naturalists, conservationists and nature lovers interested in learning more about Seton.

Although Black Wolf left us in 1946, his legacy lives on through his writings and the impact of his ideals is felt by millions of young people who have been involved in organizations or camps influenced by Ernest Thompson Seton, including millions who have been associated with the world-wide Scout movement.
